Our 4 month old princess

Bella came across a tiara sticker this morning and showed it to me. I went to pick up Lucy a few minutes later, and there it was, on her head! :)
Although I loved Bella's creative placement of that tiara sticker, I decided to replace it before we left the house.
Finally, here are pictures of Bella (first picture) and Lucy at almost exactly the same age and in the same shirt (and even the same sheet!). Ellie, if I remember correctly, you gave it to Bella (it is Baby Gap, after all)!

30!

The picture says it all. Brian is 30 now, and I am not (at least for a few more days)! We had a great family day together. We walked at Race for the Cure, went to the Flea Market (what a good husband to go there with me on his birthday), went to a park, and had his birthday party. His birthday "party" today was just the four of us, but Bella was so excited about it all day long!

No longer a newborn

Lucy is doing all kinds of fun things now- playing in her Exersaucer (she is really batting at the toys now), sitting in her Bumbo seat, and having "tummy time." I don't think we ever thought that Exersaucer and Bumbo would be a part of our everyday vocabulary, but we sure couldn't live without them! She is also babbling and giggling quite a bit. It's so fun to see the beginnings of her personality.

In the Exersaucer:

In the Bumbo:

Tummy time:

And even one-handed tummy time:

Bella wanted me to take a picture of her having tummy time too (and she is quite good at it, don't you think?):

The Princess and the Fish

We spent Labor Day at Grandma and Grandpa's (Brian's parents) lakehouse. One of the first things that Bella wanted to do was to go fishing. With help from Grandpa and her pink Disney Princess rod, Bella caught 2 fish! After the first catch, cousins Noah, Jake, and Noah's friend gathered around to watch her as if she was an expert. Apparently they had tried the day before without much luck.

Bella also had fun "jumping" off the diving board, riding in the boat and going tubing.
