Annabella had a cough and fever at the end of last week, so I took her to the doctor on Friday. I really didn't think it was anything too bad, but I wanted to get her in before the weekend. I'm so glad we went in because it turns out she has pneumonia! Poor baby!She is taking antibiotics and doing breathing treatments 4 times a day. It just makes her look like such a sick little girl when she's hooked up to the nebulizer. She did get to pick out either a penguin or cow nebulizer, so at least there was something fun to it. She has a book called Your Personal Penguin by Sandra Boynton (we love her books!), so now we say that she has her very own personal penguin.
We went to the doctor again this morning, and she seems to be doing better. Preschool and ballet are off this week anyway due to Spring Break, but hopefully she'll be rested and ready to go again next week!
