Fancy Bella at the Museum

Bella really has enjoyed reading Fancy Nancy books. One of the books we have is Fancy Nancy at the Museum. I asked Bella if she would like to go to a museum a couple of weeks ago, and she was so excited to go. They were having a free family day, which included several craft projects. She also got a free art kit, and she will be able to get a new free art supply item for it each month. What a great deal!
She got to make a leprechaun (or as she called it later, "one of those funny little guys"), and paint a bird with water colors and oil pastels. Sitting with her at the little tables and chairs in a classroom-like room reminded me so much of being in elementary school art class. I think I loved it just as much as she did!
This was later at home with "Angelina" the bird. Bella named her after Angelina Ballerina.
Then she got to wander around in the garden area for a while. I had a hard time keeping up with this little explorer! I had my purse, camera, her still slightly wet bird painting and art kit to lug around as I followed her!

Oh how sweet! I know lots of little girls who like Fancy Nancy! I think it is so great when you get to spend some one on one time with them...it's hard to do though!

I love her personality :)

Have a good week!
