Easter Sunday

We had a very busy Easter Sunday. First, Bella got to see what the Easter buny left for her. Then we got ready and went to church. It's a good thing we took some pictures of Bella in her pretty dress before we left. The flowers started falling off of her dress at Sunday School! Her teachers had gathered up 10 of them, and they continued to fall off at lunch. Oh well! We went to lunch with Papa, Momo, Uncle David, Aunt Sara, Jack and Andrew. This is just a side note, but I can't help but mention it- we almost literally ran right into Eddie Sutton at lunch! We love Eddie, so that was a thrill!
Finally, after a short nap, we went to Grandma and Grandpa's house for an Easter egg hunt with all of the cousins and dinner. We are so blessed to have so much of our family close by. Bella got to spend time with all 8 of her cousins in one day!

Coloring Easter eggs

On Saturday night, we dyed Easter eggs. Bella had a really good time and wanted to dip each egg in almost every color!

Reading in her snow boots

This morning, before getting dressed for the day, Bella decided to wear her snow boots. Then she got out a book to read to herself. She has been doing this a lot lately, and it is really cute. She sometimes remembers parts of the book, but the rest she will make up according to the pictures. She was reading to her
baby doll in the last couple of pictures. In the book, there was a picture of a birthday party, so she pretended is was her baby's birthday party. We sung Happy Birthday to her baby, and then she helped her baby blow out the candles (last picture). She is at such a fun age- we are loving her imagination!

Pneumonia and a Personal Penguin

Annabella had a cough and fever at the end of last week, so I took her to the doctor on Friday. I really didn't think it was anything too bad, but I wanted to get her in before the weekend. I'm so glad we went in because it turns out she has pneumonia! Poor baby!
She is taking antibiotics and doing breathing treatments 4 times a day. It just makes her look like such a sick little girl when she's hooked up to the nebulizer. She did get to pick out either a penguin or cow nebulizer, so at least there was something fun to it. She has a book called Your Personal Penguin by Sandra Boynton (we love her books!), so now we say that she has her very own personal penguin.
We went to the doctor again this morning, and she seems to be doing better. Preschool and ballet are off this week anyway due to Spring Break, but hopefully she'll be rested and ready to go again next week!

Never enough pink and brown!

Thank you to Judy, our special friend in Colorado, for this sweet pink and brown Colorado t-shirt. Anyone who has been around Annabella very much knows that her pink and brown are her "signature colors." Judy saw this shirt it made her think of Bella, so she sent it to her- what a treat! We love it! :)

Pigtails return!

Bella has enough hair for pigtails again!
They make her look so much older! In the second picture, she is trying to show me the side view and smile REALLY hard! :)
