annabella and lucy: Thanksgiving in Hawaii

My parents, my brother's family, and our family went to Maui, Hawaii for a nice family vacation (and because the OSU basketball team happened to be playing in the Maui Invitational). This vacation has been planned for a couple of years- as soon as my Dad heard about it. OSU playing basketball in Hawaii? How could we miss that opportunity?!
Thank you Mom and Dad!
Memories:
*We had 4 kids ages 4 and under on an 8 hour flight...and they did really well!
*A huge freshly caught fish being paraded around our table, and us being told that it would on the menu the next night. I can't get that fish's sad face out of my head.
*Watching Bella and Jack see the ocean for the first time...and somehow they both managed to get wet (Jack- soaking wet) even though were just there to look before we got our swimsuits on.
*Bella picking up Power Ranger moves and sounds from Jack- but here's Bella's version: "Fhewwwwwww.....here comes the.....Evil Stepmother"
*Seeing a lizard, some big sea turtles, some dolphins
*Seeing Michael JORDAN! At one time Lucy and I were literally a Michael Jordan's length away from Michael Jordan!
*Sara gathering (literally- gathering- like a preschool teacher to her class) the OSU basketball team on the beach for a picture with Jack and Bella. And they did it!
*Lucy's first taste of real food at Thanksgiving dinner...mashed potatoes! How can anything ever compare to that!
*Bella telling us she was thankful for: God, her family, her friends, and ice cream (although that wasn't necessarily her order...)
