So big!

How big is Lucy? So big!
At her 6 month check-up, she was literally off the charts in height at 27 3/4", and in the 96th percentile in weight at 17 lbs, 10 oz.
At almost 7 months now, she is babbling word-like sounds (even some mama and dada), sitting up like a pro, and starting to play with Bella. She's not crawling yet, but she's almost scooting. She loves baths and cuddling, but hates getting dressed. She's sleeping pretty well at night, but naps can be hard when her big sister doesn't remember to be quiet. She's has started baby food vegetables (after starting rice cereal first), but isn't quite loving them yet. Green beans went over better than carrots did. I mentioned in the last post that her first bite of solid food ever (besides probably a little bit of sand) was at Thanksgiving dinner in Maui, and it was a teeny tiny bite of mashed potatoes.
Hmmmm...

Lucy just now moved to her crib from her bassinet in our room. Yes, I'm admitting it. Maybe I'm having a hard time letting my baby grow up. She was getting a little big for the bassinet, don't you think?

She loves to watch Bella, and is now trying to get involved in whatever Bella is doing. I was just trying to get a picture of them playing together, and Lucy looked up and smiled at the camera. Was it do distract me from the fact that she is about to grab Bella's marker? Bella is so funny!
Getting ready for her first Christmas! Oh what fun it will be!
