We had a mild New Year's Eve celebration. We were hoping to have our little kid-friendly get together like last year, but Bella had an ended up with an ear infection and wasn't feeling very well. Why do kids seem to get sick only on weekends and holidays? Thank goodness for our sweet friend and neighbor that could diagnose and call in some antibiotics. We did let her go outside in the freezing cold for a little while to do a couple of sparklers and snap-pop things left over from the 4th of July.
