A couple of weeks ago when we had lots of ice and a little snow, all Bella wanted to do was go play in it. She got herself dressed in the warmest things she could find and went around all day inside like this.
Finally, when Daddy got home, he agreed to take her out. He thought they might last about 20 minutes since it was so cold, but they were out there for a couple of hours. The ice made for some fun sledding.
Lucy couldn't go out because she wasn't feeling 100% well, and I hated to send her out in the freezing cold like that. I managed to keep her distracted from what Bella and Daddy were doing for a while, but then, she saw. She was upset.
So, very, very upset. It broke my heart that she couldn't understand why she couldn't be out there playing too.
