It started with the girls discovering their baskets. Bella loved her princess nightgown.
Lucy was just excited by the Hello Kitty Easter grass!
Then we did a little hunt for eggs. Once Lucy found out there was "CANNY!" inside, she was a happy girl. In fact, all day long we just told her to say "candy" when were taking her picture and she would say "CANNY" and smile really big.
They were both pretty happy with their goodies.
Then we got everyone all dressed up and ready for church.
Dressed up, yes, but still silly! Bella insisted on wearing the purple dress-up gloves from her Easter basket.
Bella and Jack...they are growing up too fast!
Cousins!
We hurried home to get a nap in for Lucy and to get ready for dinner at our house with Brian's family.~
More cousins...somehow they ended up standing in order of heights. Hello Von Trapp family?
And then it was time for another (inside due to the pouring rain) Easter egg hunt. This one was sponsered by Grandma.
Brian smoked a turkey and we had a really good meal. One of my duties was the desserts- yea! I just followed this recipe, but this carrrot cake was really good!

Ooooooh! So impressed with the looks of the desserts. I am sure they were as good to taste as they look. Are those some yummy cake balls?
